The Plano Symphony Orchestra may not be the Dallas Symphony Orchestra but they’re still really good. Their 2010-2011 season is winding down (it ends in April) but you still have the opportunity to catch their final three concerts.

The Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles takes place at the Charles W. Eisemann Center on February 26th at 8:15pm. The Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson TX. 75082.

If you are a fan of the TV show Americas Got Talent you should appreciate this next concert. Barbara Padilla, who won second prize on America’s Got Talent, will be appearing with the winners of the Collin County Young Artist Competition. and the Plano Symphony Orchestra at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. The show starts at 8:15pm on March 19th. St. Andrews United Methodist Church is located at 5801 West Plano Parkway, Plano, TX. 75093.

A Grand Finale puts the finishing touches on a great season for the Plano Symphony Orchestra. The PSO will be performing Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 for the first time in six years. (Jeez, I hope they’re not too rusty). Jenny Till will sing soprano, Laura Mercado sings Mezzo-soprano, Alex Bumpas sings tenor, and Blake Davidson sings baritone. You can go online to www.planosymphony.org and listen to samples of the music as well as get your tickets to any of these events. A Grand Finale, like the Beatles Tribute, will take place at the Charles W. Eisemann Center at 8:15pm on April 2nd.
