If I had to make a bet on which haunted house is the best in the Dallas area I would put my money on Cutting Edge Haunted House in Forth Worth. This place just seem to have all the right credentials. First of all its recognized all over the place ( Fangoria magazine, Travel Channel, Wall Street Journal, Dallas Morning News, Haunt, AOL, US Airways etc. ) as one of the best and biggest haunted houses in the nation.

It’s even won a new Guinness World Record. Then there’s the fascinating history of the place. Cutting Edge Haunted House is located in a one hundred year old meat packing plant in Fort Worth. And, get this, the Old West meat packing equipment is still in use. Only now it’s part of a two-story human processing area. Revenge of the cows! The Cutting Edge takes an average of fifty-five minutes to walk through and not one of them is boring according to experienced haunted house reviewers. That’s a lot of terror for one night so you are sure to get your money’s worth.

It takes so long to get through because the haunted house is multi-storied and multi-themed full of realistic props, live actors, terrifying monsters, and awesome special effects. Cutting Edge Haunted House is open every night this weekend from 7:00pm till midnight. Their closing time means that’s when they stop selling tickets. So the actual closing time is probably a little after one in the morning.

Their also open one weekend longer than most haunted houses. So if you can’t make it this weekend you can go on November 5th and 6th from 8:00pm till 10:00pm. To find out more info and to check out their sneak peak videos visit Cutting Edge’s website at
