The at&t Performing Arts Center is the finishing piece in the Dallas Arts District. It sits on ten acres of land and includes such venues as the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, Dee and Charles Wylie Theatre, Annette Strauss Square and Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park.
There are several great shows coming up this year including one by the big man himself, Al Pacino. Here’s what’s going on in February.
February 5 – March 15th: The Dallas Theater Center puts on a production of the classic Arsenic and Old Lace at the Kalita Humphrey’s Theater.
February 11th -27th: The Dallas Opera performs Romeo and Juliet at the Winspear Opera House.
February 12th: Take 6 and Yolanda Adams at Winspear Opera House
February 12th: Sarah Jaffe performs at the Wyly Theatre.
February 15th: Big Band Boogie by the Dallas Wind Symphony at the Myerson Symphony Center.
February 17th: Zainab Salbi at the Wyly Theatre
February 17th: Kodo Drummers of Japan at the Winspear Opera House
February 18th: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy plays the Wyly Theatre. This ought to be a good one.
February 23rd – 27th: The Dallas Black Dance Theatre performs Cultural Awareness at the Wyly Theatre.
February 23rd: The famous ocean explorer and filmaker, Jean Michel Cousteau will be at the Winspear Opera House.
February 26th: The Chieftains at the Winspear Opera House.
